What Is a vCard QR Code?

A vCard QR code encodes your contact information in the vCard format (.vcf), the universal standard for electronic business cards. When someone scans it, their phone automatically opens the contact with your name, phone number, email, company, and more pre-filled. They just tap "Save" and your details are stored permanently in their address book.

What Information Can You Include?

  • Full name — First name, last name, and title
  • Phone numbers — Mobile, work, and fax
  • Email addresses — Work and personal
  • Company details — Organisation name, job title, department
  • Address — Street, city, postal code, country
  • Website and social media — URLs and LinkedIn profiles

Why Use vCard QR Codes?

Networking Events

Replace paper business cards. One scan saves your full contact — no typing, no lost cards.

Email Signatures

Add a vCard QR to your email signature so recipients can save you with one tap.

vCard Versions Explained

vCard 3.0 is the most widely supported format and works on virtually all smartphones (iPhone, Android, Windows). vCard 4.0 adds social media profiles and additional fields but may not be supported on older devices. We recommend vCard 3.0 for maximum compatibility.
